Oxjam Hull An Arts project from Hull, Kingston upon Hull by liam-foster

Our aim is to raise a minimum of £500 for Oxjam this year. 2012 sees the return of Oxjam to the city of Hull, this year we are holding a 'on of a kind' gig at The Welly Club in the style of a Jools Hollands show.


PROJECT UPDATE

We loved raising our funds through Peoplefund.it and it was great getting some press. The event was a huge success and a massive thanks to Peoplefund.it for making this possible.

To spread the word of Oxjam Hull 2012 we have created an Oxjam Hull Youtube channel, this campaign saw some of Hull's best musicians play exclusive acoustic sets in iconic venues/landmarks that our beautiful city possesses. We would like to thank all of the venues involved. Please take some time to enjoy these masterpieces! Finally, a massive thanks to Josh Moore of Shoot.J.Moore films for videoing the bands.

Our main event is 'Oxjam 360', the event will take place at The Welly Club (Hull) on Friday the 26th of October (Doors 8pm, First band 8.30pm).

"Everywhere you look there will be a stage", we have 5 stages all in one room for this gig, in the style of a Jools Hollands show... The audience will be surround by a range of music/genres coming from the multiple stages.

AFFAIRS
BLACK DELTA MOVEMENT
LATE NIGHT FICTION
STREAMING LIGHTS 

If that wasn't enough, there will be an outdoor Busker Stage showcasing the fantastic acts that are on some of the Youtube videos... PLUS, we have a Wolfpack clubnight following Oxjam 360 at Welly Club; DJs, cheap drinks and loud music! 

When donating here, please state whether you require a wristband for the gig or if it is just a donation to Oxjam :) 

Wristbands will be available to collect at Welly on the night of the gig!
